Indian Incentive Buyers ‘Wowed’ on AIME Famil
Following on from the success of Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) in February, Business Events Geelong hosted 10 Indian incentive buyers to the region.
In collaboration with the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), participants embarked on a captivating day exploring the diverse attractions, food, and wine of our region. To kick off the adventure, they travelled from Melbourne’s Docklands to Portarlington via ferry, setting the stage for a memorable experience.
The first highlight of the day was aboard The Q Train, where participants indulged in a degustation entree paired with local wines and handcrafted cocktails, creating a culinary journey that showcased the very best of the Bellarine. Later, the group enjoyed an exceptional lunch experience at Tarra in Queenscliff, expertly prepared and served by MasterChef Michael DiMagistris.

The day continued with visits to Sea All Dolphin Swims, a tour of the Geelong Waterfront precinct and the National Wool Museum. Our guests capped off their journey with one final stop at the vibrant Little Creatures precinct, where they were treated to a private brewery tour, beer tasting, wood fired pizza.
The response from buyers was overwhelming with future business on the horizon for the region. We look forward to our ongoing partnership with MCB and continuing to showcase Geelong and the Bellarine to the international MICE market.
