Business Events Geelong Celebrates International Women’s Day
In everyday work life we acknowledge and celebrate all the incredible things that women do and bring to not only our workplace, but also our industry.
So in the lead up to International Women’s Day 2023 (IWD) , we went out and met some of the women in business within our region and got some insight into what International Women’s Day means to them and also what it means to be a woman in business within our region.
Watch the interviews for yourself below:
Truffleducks Co Owner and Business Manager Debra Nash
The Sharp Group’s Co Owner Lyndsay Sharp
Mt Duneed Estate Owners Christine Whelan & Bec Hanegraaf
With 80% of our office being female, we all feel empowered to strive for our goals and feel supported in achieving these goals.
International Women’s Day is celebrated on the 8th March each year and is a time to reflect on and celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
It’s also a time for us to reflect on the gains we have made toward gender equality – and recognise that major change is still required.
Thanks for tuning in and being a part of the change!
