Bookings are now open for Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre, with availability starting in 2026.
Currently under construction on Geelong’s picturesque waterfront, the centre will feature 3,700 square metres of flexible event space, including a 1,000-seat theatre.

Operated by the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Trust, the venue is designed to host a wide range of events, from international and national conferences to exhibitions, entertainment, and community gatherings.

Set on Wadawurrung Country, Nyaal Banyul which translates to ‘Open your eyes to the hills’ a name generously gifted to the centre by the Wadawurrung Traditional owners Aboriginal Corporation, will offer stunning waterfront views paired with sustainably designed modern architecture. Located in a vibrant precinct that includes the 200-room Crowne Plaza Hotel and numerous dining options, the venue is just an hour from Melbourne.

Wineries, restaurants, coast and culture – there’s so much within easy reach of the venue to make a conference truly memorable.”
